SUE CLOWES saw herself essentially as a textile desinger, but was fortunate enough to parade his first collection across our TV screens in 81 when Boy George and Culture Club wore here designs printed with iconoclastic images of Judaism and Catholicism.  Her designs became an instant hit with teenyboppers and fashion editors and were copied worldwide.  A latercollection,  ¥ Flesh & Steel¥ ,  in 84 pre-empted the move  to wards sportswear as a fashionable concern, with its MPF print vests and jersey leggings.  Later still, prompted by Olympic Mania overkill,  she created a collection of pyjama suits and smoking jackets.  ¥ In The Arms Of Morpheus¥  which were intended for daywear.  ¥ They are for passive who sleep during the day in front of the TV¥  she remarked.
